The Cooperative Education Program at the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences is an academic program designed to supplement students' campus-based studies through work-learn employment in part-time and full-time positions. The program is designed to correspond to the students' majors or the fields they wish to explore within business, industry, and government or social service agencies.
This integration of formalized classroom study and supervised employment in areas relevant to the vocational and educational goals of the student has distinct advantages for students, employers, the college and the community as a whole.
